and welcome to the NZHEA website.This website begins a new era for health education - one that we believe will increase the profile of this very important subject area throughout New Zealand. The website has been created to assist and support health educators in the implementation of health education from The New Zealand Curriculum (2007) as well as informing about new resources and material. It is also hoped that it will become much more than that.
With your support and enthusiasm we are looking forward to receiving any materials that you believe will support others in the implementation of high quality health education programmes from Year 1 to Year 13. In this way we do not have to wait for a conference to share our great ideas, but we can all benefit from collaborating through the website.
A website like this takes many hours of work and dedication to develop. The National Executive, on behalf of you the members, would like to thank Melissa Fenton for her work to date to ensure this project has become a reality and for her ongoing work in the future.
